Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is primarily accountable for the secure installation of residential elevators, emphasizing the delivery of superior quality to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executing the installation of home elevators in accordance with the established, 9-Stage Installation Process.

· Ensure elevators are installed and ready for inspection upon completion.

· Achieve installation of elevators within or below the Ideal Hours.

Elevator installations must meet high-quality standards.

· Rails and jacks must be aligned within 1/8" from top to bottom.

· All wiring must be precise and organized.

· The cab must be constructed plumb and square.

All elevator installations must adhere to safety protocols with a target of 0 (Zero) OSHA Recordables.

· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be utilized throughout the installation process.

Complete elevator installation must be inspection-ready.

· No additional work should be required by the adjuster to finalize the elevator.

· Ensure the job site is clean, including the pit and cartop, and remove any debris.

· Inspections will be conducted solely by the adjuster.

Mechanics are expected to be actively engaged in or have completed the C.E.T. Program.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Familiarity with power and hand tools

2. Ability to accurately read a tape measure

3. Knowledge of PPE usage and safety regulations

4. Proficient in utilizing safety documents, including MSDS

5. Capability to operate a vehicle and tow a trailer is advantageous (if necessary)

6. Competence in interpreting elevator shop drawings and wiring schematics

7. Reliable transportation is essential

8. Mechanically inclined with a quick learning ability

9. Understanding of plumb, level, and square measurements

10. Punctuality and readiness to work are crucial

SUCCESS CRITERIA:

· Deliver high-quality installations

· Complete jobs within or under ideal hours

· Maintain zero (0) OSHA recordables.

· Contribute positively to team dynamics

· Organize and maintain tools in a clean and accessible manner

· Complete warranty installations within a single day

· Limit overtime to 2 hours or less weekly

· Exhibit a strong work ethic and teamwork spirit

· Ensure accurate and thorough documentation as required by supervisors and the organization

· Maintain professional communication with clients, technicians, and management
