About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Outpatient. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments to identify treatment goals and develop effective plans
  • Treat a variety of diagnoses, including post-operative patients, orthopedic, workers' compensation, and sports-related injuries
  • Build relationships with referral sources and the community to promote our services
  • Document patient progress accurately and efficiently using Therapy Source
  • Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families as needed
Requirements
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations
