About the Role:

As a QC Technician II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our laboratory environment. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare specimens for testing, test and release products in accordance with written test procedures, and maintain instrumentation/equipment in alignment with manufacturer's labeling and in-house audit and calibration procedures. You will also be responsible for leveraging GMP in maintaining records and logs, maintaining working laboratory inventory, and conducting other laboratory functions required to support business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Test and release product in accordance with written test procedures
• Schedule testing to meet department and plant commitments
• Maintain instrumentation/equipment in alignment with manufacturer's labeling and in-house audit and calibration procedures
• Leverage GMP in maintaining records and logs
• Maintain working laboratory inventory
• Conduct other laboratory functions required to support business needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in QA or QC or related field
• Experience in a cGMP environment
