Avionics/Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic systems and aircraft equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and expertise in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic systems and aircraft equipment.
- Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
- Train and mentor personnel to support company cross-training goals and ensure a safety-conscious, quality-oriented workforce.
- Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot, and teach troubleshooting processes to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
- Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
- Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
- Adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate with other disciplines concerning projects.
- High School Diploma or GED required; six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred; other FCC License and NCATT preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
