We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Abdominal Imaging Physician to join our esteemed Department of Radiology at AMN Healthcare. This role is pivotal in enhancing our body imaging division, particularly within the Abdominal/Ultrasound subspecialty section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert diagnostic imaging services utilizing a variety of modalities including conventional radiography, CT, MR, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound.
- Engage in basic ultrasound and CT-guided interventional procedures, such as biopsies and drains, with a preference for candidates possessing this experience.
- Contribute to a rich clinical environment characterized by diverse and complex pathologies across multiple practice sites.
Teaching and Research Opportunities:
- Participate in significant educational initiatives with a robust training program consisting of 42 residents and 15 fellows.
- Collaborate in a collegial and supportive atmosphere that fosters excellence in clinical practice, research, and education.
- Access dedicated research infrastructure, including support from a grants manager, study coordinators, and statisticians.
Work-Life Balance:
- Enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a shared call arrangement.
