Job Summary:
The Director of Facilities and Plant Engineering at Conway Medical Center oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of Engineering/Plant Operations, including facilities management, medical office building maintenance, construction projects, and equipment upgrades. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and supporting the overall mission of the medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement facilities management strategies to optimize space utilization, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of medical office buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Manage construction projects, including design, bidding, and project execution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and standards for facilities and plant operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities and plant operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in managing facilities and plant operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
