Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our night shift team. As a Packer, you will be responsible for picking, inspecting, and packing quality parts into boxes on your assigned line. You will also be responsible for accurately counting parts to ensure that customers receive a consistent, high-quality product.
Key Responsibilities- Picking, inspecting, and packing quality parts into boxes on your assigned line
- Accurately counting parts to ensure that customers receive a consistent, high-quality product
- Bagging parts and placing them into the correct box on the assigned production line
- Ensuring that each box is properly sealed to minimize the potential for damage
- Effectively operating equipment as required
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High school, Vo-Tech, or equivalent graduate
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak clearly before groups of customers or employees
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Effectively communicating with supervisors
- The ability to read, write, and comprehend information provided
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for most of the work shift. You will also be required to use your hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with your hands and arms, stoop, crouch, bend, twist, and occasionally sit. You will be lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, with heavier amounts able to be moved with the assistance of equipment.
