About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Canyon Ridge Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatrics with emotional or psychiatric disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, patient-focused care to adults and geriatrics with emotional or psychiatric disorders
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide education to patients and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current RN license issued by the State of California
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross
  • Sound leadership skills and ability to organize activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the patient
  • Record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of treatment procedures, interventions, and medical terminology
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
