We are seeking a skilled Helicopter Maintenance Specialist to join our team, ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our helicopter fleet.
This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of service delivery and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
The Helicopter Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive maintenance tasks, including mechanical inspections, repairs, and providing updates to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager.
Manage inventory assessments to maintain adequate supplies and equipment, regularly update tracking logs, and submit requests for replacements as needed.
Ensure meticulous documentation of service records and compliance with FAA regulations while adhering to company policies and information security protocols.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment for both the maintenance team and flight crew.
Utilize effective communication strategies to facilitate collaboration among departments, vendors, and team members.
Work in a cooperative and professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow maintenance technicians and operational staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification experience
Three (3) years of experience with turbine-powered helicopters
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
Experience with aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145
Skills in avionics troubleshooting and electrical repairs
Familiarity with AS350 helicopters
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work on scaffolding or ladders safely.
Capability to stand, lie, and kneel in various positions for extended periods.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary for operating tools and making repairs.
Exposure to loud noise levels and vibrations; may require the use of hearing protection.
Visual acuity necessary for inspecting and repairing aircraft, including the ability to distinguish colors and shades.
Must comply with FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations.
Frequent data entry and coordination of multiple tasks are required.
