Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Nexus HR Services.

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care through the use of the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reactions to treatments and medications.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • 2 years of ICU experience.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or a Compact state.
  • CPR, ACLS, TNCC, or ATCN certifications.
