We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and administer environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives and programs.
- Monitor and report on safety metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% within the Great Lakes geography.
