We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SpEd. Behavior Educational Supporter to join our team at Rutherford County Schools.
The successful candidate will provide support to students with special needs, assisting them in developing and maintaining positive behaviors and academic skills.
About the Role:- This is a 10-month position starting on July 18th, 2024 (202 days).
The ideal candidate will have an associates degree or higher; OR *Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR *Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment.
A working computer knowledge and multi-tasked oriented individual who can work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties.
Additionally, the candidate should be able to establish effective schedule and work routines, follow oral and written instructions, and maintain excellent attendance.
Requirements:- $45,000 - $50,000 per year (estimated salary range based on location).
- Hold an associates degree or higher; OR *Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR *Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment.
