Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Engineering and Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting impactful research, and contributing to the school's reputation as a nationally-ranked Engineering and Management program.
Responsibilities- Teaching and Research: Deliver high-quality instruction in relevant courses in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Engineering and Management, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Conduct and publish impactful research in top-tier journals, particularly in supply chain and operations management, while securing funding and collaborating with industry partners.
- Service and Engagement: Contribute to school and university committees, engage in professional organizations, and seek research funding and collaboration with the private sector.
- Student Guidance and Curriculum Development: Provide academic and professional guidance to students and contribute to curriculum development.
- Minimum Qualifications: Earned Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field by the appointment date. Earned at least one engineering degree (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate).
- Preferred Qualifications: High potential for publishing in top-tier supply chain management journals, and ability to contribute to the school's reputation as nationally-ranked Engineering and Management (E&M) and supply chain management programs.
Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vita, a teaching statement with teaching evaluations (if available), and a research statement as well as three (3) reference letters.
