Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. As a PTA, you will work in our outpatient clinic, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct vital sign assessments and document patient information accurately.
  • Participate in patient education and training on exercise programs and other treatment modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an outpatient setting.
  • Current PTA licensure and certification in the state of Illinois.
  • Ability to work 5x8 day shifts, with no weekend requirement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
