Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologist with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification
