Job Summary

The Housekeeper Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our community and its suites. This role involves performing day-to-day housekeeping activities, providing laundry services, and ensuring the availability of linens and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning apartments.
  • Provide laundry services, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding of community linens, towels, and sheets, as well as residents' personal laundry.
  • Ensure the daily cleanliness of common areas, including the lobby, library, activity room, resident units, employee lounge, dining room, offices, and other areas.
  • Stock housekeeping carts with supplies at the end of each shift.
  • Comply with infection control techniques and established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies and advise the supervisor of needs.
  • Assist with the orientation and training of new team members.
  • Practice positive resident relations by responding promptly and positively to resident requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training.
