Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate registrations through face-to-face interviews to gather demographic, insurance, medical, and financial information.
- Be cross-trained to assist in all areas of Patient Access, including Front Desk, Admitting Office, Emergency Department, and Cashier.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Serve as a Super User and a resource for training new team members.
- Facilitate registration and cash collection processes using Epic.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Basic knowledge of PC software applications and the ability to navigate multiple data systems.
- Understanding of medical terminology to comprehend physician orders or completion of a relevant course within one year.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role with direct interaction.
- An Associate's degree may substitute for up to one year of experience.

- Capability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
