Bitterroot Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team in Hamilton, Montana. As a Circulating Nurse RN, you will provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the surgical environment, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons and CRNAs to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory, participate in performance improvement activities, and assist with scheduling surgical cases and staff scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Department Head of Surgical Services to develop, revise, and implement departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in the budget process, assist with new employee orientation, and strive to maintain a steady level of productivity.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with documentation of Montana state licensure.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NILS certifications, with preferred PALS certification.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and knowledge of regulatory requirements such as AORN Standards and OSHA.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience in the surgical setting.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Bitterroot Health is a non-profit organization and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
