Job Summary

The Assembly Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the assembly line, guaranteeing that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are adhered to. This position involves leading a team of assembly workers, coordinating with other departments, and continuously improving production processes to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of assembly workers, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Production Management: Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications, implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any hazards.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, coordinating with suppliers and vendors as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Proficient in using production management software and tools.
