Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the Charlotte Knights. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock all necessary supplies, and maintain stock levels to ensure product quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, take and process orders, and mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes.
  • Check guests for proper identification, detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
  • Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops, and secure bank.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keep work area clean and organized, and arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
