Position Overview
The Retail Associate is responsible for upholding the prestigious Red Wing brand image through professional customer interactions and sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage customers and provide tailored assistance in selecting products.
- Accurately input customer data and sales transactions into our system.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Ensure proper fitting and measurement for each customer.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications effectively.
- Support the Mobile Sales Representative during on-site sales and fittings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required, with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Experience in retail footwear or wholesale is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend to lace shoes, and climb ladders as needed. Responsibilities also include general store maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing displays.
