**Job Summary**
CSL Plasma is seeking a Medical Screener to join our team at our plasma collection center. As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for greeting donors, conducting registration procedures, and verifying donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history and answering basic medical questions.
- Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
- Conduct finger stick to obtain sample for hematocrit and total protein levels.
- May educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
- Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment and ensure sufficient operating supplies and forms are available.
- Follow all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
