Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Leidos is seeking an experienced Classification Manager to join our team in the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) region. As a Classification Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing the classification and markings of classified and unclassified written products, including analytic reports, policy documents, websites, budget spreadsheets, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing various written products to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part, of requests for public disclosure and explaining those determinations to leaders and the workforce.
  • Reviewing records to determine if they can be declassified.
  • Developing and maintaining records for tracking the status and adjudication of materials submitted to the office.
  • Planning, coordinating, and documenting the client's classification, declassification, and prepublication determinations.
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI with Poly.
  • Able to consult and coordinate with stakeholders and other organizations to ensure consistent application of public disclosure policies and procedures.
  • Able to develop and implement strategies to identify information-protection issues and problems, including those resulting from unauthorized disclosure, inadvertent release, declassification, and the collective effect of releases to mitigate those issues and problems.
  • Minimum 5 years working with or in the IC.
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
