Position Overview

As a Security Transport Specialist, you will collaborate with your team to guarantee the safe and secure collection and delivery of cash, coins, and other valuables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles along designated routes to service customer locations.
  • Provide service to ATMs and Smart Safes.
  • Manage customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins.
  • Count items, document, and acknowledge receipt of cargo items.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a minimum of a 3-year driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
  • A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.
**Loomis will cover the costs for security and firearms qualifications, licensing, and permitting.**

Work EnvironmentFull-time schedule potentially consisting of an average of 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period. Occasional weekend work may be required.Approximately 90-95 percent of work is performed in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear).Essential Duties/Job QualificationsAs part of the qualification process for the Security Transport Specialist position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation includes successful completion of testing in the following areas:Lift:25 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches from the floor (1X).Lift-Carry:18 lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X).
18 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300 ft (1X).
50 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X).Push-Pull:Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), distance 1 ft (2X).Repetitive Coupling:Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs / both right & left hands (4X).Climb:Ascend / Descend a step with heights of 24 inches from the floor (10X).Benefits
