Job Summary

As a key member of our dynamic team at 2 Brothers Moving & Delivery, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our customers' belongings. This physically demanding role requires individuals who can handle heavy lifting, drive moving trucks, and provide exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed. You will be an essential part of our team, working collaboratively with other crew members to complete moving assignments.

Responsibilities:

1. Driving:

Operate moving trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic and safety regulations during transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

2. Loading and Unloading:

Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items from trucks, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transit. Utilize proper lifting techniques to handle items weighing up to 75 lbs.

3. Customer Service:

Interact professionally with customers and address any concerns or questions, handling belongings with care and ensuring customer satisfaction. Provide a positive and friendly experience throughout the moving process.

4. Team Collaboration & Leadership:

Work collaboratively with other team members to complete moving assignments, communicating effectively with the Crew Manager and other staff to ensure smooth operations. Lead and organize the crew on specific jobs.

5. Flexibility:

Be available to work evenings and weekends as required by the moving schedule, adapting to varying job requirements and schedules.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, experience working as a driver for a Moving, Logistics or Transportation company, must be 21 or older, ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 75 lbs, using proper techniques, ability to lead and be led, strong work ethic and reliability, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation:

  • Competitive starting pay of $21/hr. After successful completion of 90 day period, wages go up to $22/hr.
  • Additional $4/hr in cash tips (average) based on performance.
