We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Everest Consultants, Inc. The successful candidate will have experience in indirect purchasing, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of construction projects and costing.
Key Responsibilities- Review and understand Purchase Requests, identify appropriate vendors, and negotiate best value contracts.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased goods or services and accurate reporting of status to management.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase activities.
- 4 years prior experience as a Buyer or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP or ability to quickly learn.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong business sense and ability to identify value.
The Procurement Specialist will work in a medium-to-large office environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
