Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at SERVPRO of Apopka-Wekiva. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Satisfaction
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their construction needs.
    • Provide clear and concise information about the construction process and ensure that estimates meet client requirements.
  2. Project Initiation
    • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for construction projects.
    • Create accurate sketches and initial scopes of work for construction projects.
    • Deliver consistent and well-defined initial estimates.
  3. Project Planning
    • Identify and document finalized project scope of work.
    • Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimates.
    • Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Advanced math skills.
  • Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good driving record.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.

Compensation

Starts at $65,000.00 based on experience, with possibility of bonus pay and increases based on merit.
