Position Overview:

The Audiologist plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive audiological care to patients across various age groups. This includes conducting diagnostic assessments, providing counseling, and facilitating rehabilitation services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer audiological evaluations and tests to determine the hearing capabilities of patients.
  • Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing health.
  • Implement rehabilitation strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification is required. Candidates should also hold or be eligible for state licensure in Audiology, with some positions potentially requiring a Hearing Aid Dispensing License.


Experience:

Prior experience in a medical environment is preferred but not mandatory.
