Tax Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools to ensure accurate and efficient tax preparation.
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients to help them navigate complex tax situations.
• Identify opportunities to generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience completing individual tax returns and providing tax planning and audit support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients.
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment using video conferencing and chat tools.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
