About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of MRI exams for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI exams in accordance with MGH protocols and procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  • Interview patients to gather medical histories and assess potential contraindications for MRI exams.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and transferring them to the MRI suite.
  • Set up and take down MRI equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of patient contact surfaces.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • ARRT MRI certification with MA license.
  • BLS certification.
  • IV competent.
  • 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • Knowledge of GE 1.5 Tesla scanner and associated software.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
