Position Summary

The Lead HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chilled water systems, boilers, and various mechanical and electrical components, ensuring alignment with client specifications and needs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Valid and current driver's license is mandatory

Desirable Qualifications:
  • At least five (5) years of experience in HVAC is preferred
  • Certification in refrigeration or HVAC trade is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, calibrate, and adjust various HVAC components including thermostats, burners, and electrical systems
  • Utilize standard HVAC tools in daily operations (e.g., multimeters, refrigerant gauges, hand tools)
  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems
  • Identify potential maintenance issues on equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in HVAC systems
  • Perform cleaning, adjustments, and repairs on systems, including warranty services
  • Respond to emergency repair requests efficiently
  • Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to team members
  • Maintain daily logs and records of maintenance activities
  • Ensure adherence to appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Meet service standards and customer requirements
  • Assist with customer inquiries and requests
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Entry-level HVAC technicians are encouraged to consider this opportunity
