Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team at R Donovan & Son Electric Co Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical construction teams
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve processes

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in electrical construction and 7 years as an Electrical Foreman
  • Valid driver's license

Working Conditions:

The Electrical Foreman will work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites, and will be required to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment.

Physical demands include climbing stairs and ladders, and working in confined spaces.

The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, have knowledge of the NEC and NYC electrical codes, and possess necessary tools and knowledge to use them safely.

Additionally, the candidate must be able to perform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems.
