This critical advisor will be involved in every aspect of the creation, issuance, and maintenance of Fidelity's CLOs. You will work closely with outside counsel reviewing investor, rating agency, and trustee comments, and delivering Fidelity's feedback. As the internal subject matter expert for all CLO legal issues, you will assist with Form ADV and Form PF filings, stay current on regulatory matters (US, EU, and Cayman) that impact HI&A, corporate governance matters, compliance issues, and react to day-to-day legal issues as they arise.

You will collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and communicate regularly with investment banks, trustees, and other service providers on CLO transactions. The work is dynamic, challenging, fast-paced, and engaging. Key qualifications include:

  • J.D. with 8-10 years' experience as a transactional attorney
  • Experience working on large finance transactions, including securitizations and structured finance products
  • Law firm or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to analyze relevant facts quickly and make reasoned risk-based decisions
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
  • Excellent writing and analytic skills

We offer a competitive salary range of $160,000-$320,000 per year, based on job responsibilities, scope, geographic location, and candidate experience.
