Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at Horseshoe Bay Resort. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm hospitality and positive personality to guests and colleagues
  • Take pride in all facets of service, including quality, appearance, and cleanliness
  • Perform direct communication and hospitality procedures with guests daily
  • Properly set tables and stations, follow set-up checklist, and take guest orders
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
  • Properly treat and store food and company equipment
  • Complete daily shift operation report
  • Communicate special guest requests to the kitchen
  • Detail every table and menu before each meal period
  • Assist with bussing tables
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages
  • TABC and Food Handler certificate required; Safe-serve certified preferred
  • Previous serving experience, preferably in a resort setting, is valued
  • Requires a working knowledge of ala carte, fine dining, and white glove practices
  • Requires problem-solving abilities and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comprehend reading materials, speak, read, and write English; other languages valuable
  • Impeccable standards of appearance and grooming
