Trédi is currently in search of a dedicated and experienced Custodial Technician for our operations at Hurlburt Field. Candidates must possess prior custodial experience and a solid understanding of floor maintenance, cleaning agents, and materials. Additionally, the ability to secure and maintain a valid security clearance and driver's license is essential.

Compensation: $17.20 per hour
Work Schedule: Flexible

The primary responsibility of the Custodial Technician is to deliver a comprehensive range of cleaning services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for federal personnel, visitors, and officials. Key duties include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, offices, hallways, break rooms, and other designated areas through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
  • Emptying and disinfecting waste containers.
  • Disposing of hazardous waste when assigned.
  • Preparing cleaning solutions to the correct concentrations for various tasks.
  • Washing windows, blinds, and walls using approved cleaning solutions.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas, including sidewalks and porches.
  • Laundering cleaning materials such as rags and mops.
  • Reporting maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
  • Maintaining awareness of safety hazards and reporting incidents to the Supervisor.
  • Complying with security clearance requirements and adhering to the Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Following Operations Security (OPSEC) procedures and the Property Control Plan for managing Government Furnished Property (GFP).
  • Adhering to safety and health programs in compliance with OSHA, DOD, and other applicable regulations.
  • Participating in site-specific Accident Prevention Plans (APP).
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
