Clerk - Cashier

The Save Mart Companies is a leading food retailer in California and Nevada, operating several well-known brands, including Save Mart, Lucky, Lucky California, and Food Maxx. Our company is headquartered in Stanislaus County, a hub for agriculture and innovation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Multi-Purpose Clerk to join our team at our Sonora, CA location. As a Multi-Purpose Clerk, you will be responsible for promoting sales, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Operate the checkstand, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of related experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands of the job.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
