Job Overview

Position Summary:
The role of a Commercial Security Systems Installer involves the installation, programming, and configuration of advanced electronic security systems tailored for large-scale commercial clients. This includes systems such as door access control, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locking mechanisms, point sensors, and signaling devices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various security system installations, including but not limited to Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm systems, and intrusion detection technologies.
2. Hold relevant certifications or possess equivalent experience with major brands such as Lenel, Softwarehouse, Genetech, and AMAG.
3. Exhibit proficiency in the installation and programming of CCTV cameras, including systems like Avigilon and ExacQ.

What to Expect:
As a Commercial Security Systems Installer, you will:
- Install, program, and configure electronic security systems for enterprise-level clients.
- Troubleshoot new installations to ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations.
- Supervise junior Installation Technicians as directed by the Installation Manager.
- Travel to client locations using a company vehicle to conduct installations and verify system functionality in accordance with contract specifications.
- Execute electrical wiring tasks, which may include drilling, trenching, and aerial installations.
- Manage the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including maintaining job site cleanliness.
