Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with various medical conditions and injuries.
  • Conduct thorough examinations to track growth and identify any developmental issues.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications, perform necessary procedures, and engage in discussions regarding treatment options with families.
  • Order diagnostic tests, refer patients to specialized care when needed, and offer advice on preventive health measures.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of a recognized residency program in pediatrics.
  • Valid medical license in Florida and DEA registration.
  • Board certification or eligibility within a five-year timeframe.
  • Current certifications in BLS and PALS.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
