Position Overview:
A distinguished and reputable Oncology/Hematology organization is in search of a Palliative Care Specialist to enhance a well-established and expanding sub-specialty practice with academic ties. The practice operates a dedicated outpatient Cancer Center that functions seven days a week, offering comprehensive chemotherapy services, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, and Research capabilities.

Role Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a fellowship-trained BC/BE Palliative Care Physician to become a part of the Department of Palliative Medicine. Our collaborative inpatient and outpatient teams consist of physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains, working together in a truly transdisciplinary approach. We aim to find a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual who is interested in program development, education, and clinical care.

The primary duties for this role include:
  • Providing palliative medicine consultations to a diverse range of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
  • Developing programs to further integrate palliative care within the organization.
  • Participating in teaching activities for UME, GME, and CME programs, including supporting the establishment of a fellowship program in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

We encourage physicians currently in fellowship training to consider this opportunity. Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $300K+ with Production and Quality Incentives
  • No inpatient responsibilities associated with this role
