We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in the Elk Grove, California area.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group sessions.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Associates degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or certification in the state of California.
- Experience with in a school setting is preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with communication disorders preferred.
- Experience working with AAC devices preferred.
- Familiar with IEPs.
