Job Overview

Position: Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Role Summary: The Warehouse Operator is responsible for executing various tasks within the warehouse to ensure that customer orders, inventory, equipment, and facility resources are managed effectively in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to supervisor directives and departmental protocols in the preparation of customer orders.
  • Select orders based on production scheduling documentation.
  • Examine and compare production records and materials to confirm order accuracy.
  • Conduct visual inspections of products for quality assurance and verify quantities.
  • Label and document any discrepancies in materials and identify potential improvements on the reporting board.
  • Facilitate the internal distribution of relevant documentation as necessary.
  • Utilize material handling equipment to transport goods throughout the warehouse, including loading products onto staging carts.
  • Maintain precise records of all tasks performed in the designated company format.
  • Comply with 5S practices and contribute to lean initiatives, as well as adhere to safety regulations and policies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred (verification required).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SAP warehouse management systems.
