About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Critical Care Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Springfield, MO.

Job Details:

  • Shifts per month: 10
  • Patient Volume: 4
  • Admission: Yes
  • Rounding included: Yes
  • Procedures:
    • Ventilation Management: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP), Familiarity with use of nitric oxide (iNO)
    • Bronchoscopy w/bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL)
    • Chest Tube insertion, Insertion of Central lines, Arterial lines, and PA Catheter
    • Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
    • Exchange transfusion, EKG interpretation (unofficial), Temporary pacemaker, ICP evaluation & Management
    • Diagnostic Therapeutic taps: Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
  • EMR: Epic
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

  • Active MO License
  • BC/BE
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS
