Overview:

As a Server for Statue Cruises, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests and team members, adhering to our established service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to guests and colleagues in line with our Service System.
  • Welcome guests and efficiently serve food and beverages.
  • Accurately record orders and input them into the point of sale system.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of dining areas and service stations.
  • Engage in the guest experience through celebration and entertainment.
  • Prepare and dismantle dining areas and service stations, which may involve moving furniture.
  • Process payments accurately for on-board purchases.
  • Provide guests with information regarding menu items, service sequence, entertainment options, and cruise details.
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts.
  • Maintain uniform standards and personal grooming.
  • Assist in greeting and seating guests upon arrival.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a high-volume dining environment.
  • Must possess an energetic and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with guests and team members.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to assisting others.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Must be capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, including furniture and dishes, as needed.
  • Availability to work on major holidays is required.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements as per state regulations.
  • As per US Coast Guard regulations, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
