We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team at Bolton & Menk, Inc. as a Community Infrastructure Specialist. As a key member of our Architecture Group, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing infrastructure solutions that improve the quality of life for communities across the Upper Midwest and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Provide planning, design, and coordination of different size projects up to large complex projects.
- Independently apply architectural concepts and designs as well as carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
- Coordinate drawings and specifications directly with the specification writer and assist in preparing sections as assigned.
- Engage and guide innovative idea generation within the integrated team in pursuit of design excellence.
- Review cost estimates for alignment with the design.
- Professional Architectural Degree from an accredited institution.
- 0 - 4 years of architecture experience within the architecture, design, engineering and construction field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization design tools such as Sketchup or Rhino.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Familiarity with construction management platforms such as proforma, eBuilder or Newforma a plus.
- Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.
