About the Role

Ametek, Inc. is seeking a skilled MRO Assembler to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an MRO Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly, testing, and quality control of various designs and sizes of fractional horsepower fans, blowers, and modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble final fan, blower, and module products from electrical and mechanical subcomponents, following drawings, work instructions, and in-process inspection requirements.
  • Soldering and Electrical Assembly: Perform a wide range of tasks to assemble a fan, blower, and module, including soldering wires/components, circuit boards, and box soldering.
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Inspect parts using basic measuring tools and record information or data describing work performed or defects found.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate with teams to solve department area problems and maintain established standards of quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Product Testing and Performance: Conduct product testing and performance testing, including recording of results.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety policies and procedures, including required Personal Protective Equipment for the respective job being performed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: High School degree, GED Certificate, and equivalent experience (On the Job Training)
  • Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a role involving assembly, testing, and quality control.
  • Soldering Experience: Experience with soldering and electrical assembly is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, repetitive bending, squatting, and twisting, with the ability to lift up to 20lbs.
