  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Ensure patient care and safety, addressing emotional and physical needs.
  • Assist in patient transfers to the imaging table.
  • Maintain radiation safety for all individuals.
  • Register patients according to hospital procedures.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

As a Senior Sonographer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting comprehensive health histories and performing thorough physical examinations.
  • Providing healthcare services for a range of patient needs and managing overall care.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Formulating differential diagnoses and managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribing necessary therapeutic interventions.
  • Utilizing evidence-based protocols in care planning.
  • Facilitating patient transitions across healthcare settings.

Qualifications:

For the Sonographer role, candidates should possess:

  • A completed accredited health science program and a formal education program in Sonography.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Mammography within nine months of employment.
  • Strong communication skills.

For the Senior Sonographer role, candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Radiation Sciences or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Certification by a recognized accreditation organization.
  • Experience in clinical education.
