Sylvan Learning Instructor Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor to join our team at Sylvan Learning. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in reading, math, and writing.

**Responsibilities:**

* Tutor students in small group settings (2-3 students per group)
* Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
* Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
* Maintain accurate records of student progress

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* 2-4 years of experience in teaching or tutoring
* Certification in reading, writing, or math
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Work Schedule:**

* Afternoons, Monday-Thursday
* Occasional Saturday mornings during the school year
* Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the summer
