About the Position

This position involves engaging with marketing teams and lead customers to understand their systems and contribute to next-generation power semiconductor product definition. As a Product Applications and Systems Engineer, you will create detailed specification requirements documentation, simulation and parametric models, and work closely with IC designers and applications engineering to evaluate trade-offs and decide on best methods of implementation.

You will be responsible for testing and validating silicon, verifying that it meets required customer and market specifications. Additionally, you will own product datasheets, ensuring that final products match original definitions, and provide technical customer support, including interfacing with customers, reviewing and recommending improvements to existing designs, and collaborating with the sales team on technical issues and new product applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with marketing teams and lead customers to understand their systems and contribute to next-generation power semiconductor product definition.
  • Create detailed specification requirements documentation, simulation and parametric models, and work closely with IC designers and applications engineering to evaluate trade-offs and decide on best methods of implementation.
  • Test and validate silicon, verifying that it meets required customer and market specifications.
  • Own product datasheets, ensuring that final products match original definitions.
  • Provide technical customer support, including interfacing with customers, reviewing and recommending improvements to existing designs, and collaborating with the sales team on technical issues and new product applications.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess a BSEE or local equivalent, with a strong background in power management system applications. A preferred candidate would have 8-12 years of experience in power management system applications, depending on education level. You should also have a strong technical background in power management semiconductor products, with simulation knowledge/experience in PSPICE and/or Simplis, and labview programming and equipment interface skills. Furthermore, you should be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, lab management, circuit simulation expertise, and capable of interfacing with key customers on a regular basis.
