Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing effective treatment plans, and providing high-quality care to patients with mobility, cognition, and functional difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for rehabilitation services within 24 to 48 hours of physician's orders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Provide skilled therapy services to patients, including occupational therapy interventions and education.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Meet productivity standards and maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain professional development and stay current with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) where services are being provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in providing patient care.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.
