Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Hilton East. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and overseeing the personal care staff on the floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document resident issues, concerns, and follow through in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with in-service education for personal care staff and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Administer insulin injections and perform blood glucose checks as needed.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and skills assessments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, and family members to ensure seamless care.
Supervisory Duties
  • Supervise and communicate with personal care staff to ensure high-quality care.
  • Attend supervisor and manager meetings to stay informed and address concerns.
  • Ensure aides sign for all care provided and follow up on any complaints.
  • Provide coverage until adequate staffing is in place.
Requirements
  • Must have a New York State Nursing License and a valid NYS driver's license.
  • Must have documentation of MMRs (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) showing an immune result.
  • Must have a current physical examination within 30 days of employment.
  • Must have a current PPD test with a negative result.
